Manufacture

Once our Design, specification and costs have been approved we commit ourselves to manufacture with the emphasis on quality.
We use traditional techniques and skills, combined with contemporary machinery to produce high quality buildings to exacting standards. Our craftsmen ensure that every element of design is transformed into a greenhouse in which we can hold as much pride as our customer.
- All our greenhouses, both standard and bespoke designs, are produced individually to order.
- We don’t begin to manufacture your greenhouse until all elements of the design phase are complete. This ensures our customers complete freedom when considering designs, and keeps efficiency to a maximum.
- Manageable components for each building are produced in our workshops, ready for installation.
- Timber components (all vertical elevations) are constructed from top quality Western Red Cedar using our own profiles, which are connected using a variety of joints (mortise and tenon, mitre, lap and notched joints) and fixed using a combination of Berner waterproof construction adhesive and concealed screws.
- A 4-coat Sikkens® paint system is applied to finished timber components in our own dedicated spraying facility. A Rand reciprocating piston air compressor is used to power an air assisted Kremlin airmix® gun for paint application, which takes place within a 3.5 x 2.5m dry filter spray booth.
- Aluminium extrusions are individually powder coated to match wooden parts. Design ensures roof components closely resemble wooden profiles once the extrusions are assembled.
- 4mm glazing is toughened to order for each greenhouse.
