Greenhouse Specifications

All of our greenhouses are built to the same general specification

The main framework of our buildings, produced from top quality Western Red Cedar (Thuja Plicata), combines a traditional appearance with the strength and durability of a naturally rot resistant timber.

The roof components are made entirely from polyester powder coated aluminium extrusions and steel tie bars to produce a light, yet very strong and maintenance free structure.

A generous 888mm (2'-11") wide, mortise and tenon jointed door with no threshold provides ample access for both wheelbarrows and wheelchairs.

Side Frames	Western Red Cedar (Thuja Plicata) from sustainable forests.
Roof	Extruded aluminium sections with steel tie bars, all polyester powder coated.
Door	Solid mortise and tenon construction, hinged to open inward with a clear threshold and traditional "Black Antique" door furniture.
Ventilation	Automatically controlled, polyester powder coated aluminium roof vents.
Glazing	One-piece 4mm toughened glass units with beading to side frames.
Rainwater collection	Via PVCu gutters and downpipes.
Finish	Either stained to give a natural timber finish or painted in any colour of your choice, polyester powder coating to match.
